ACProducts, Inc., The Colony, Tx., has agreed to acquire 98-year-old cabinetry manufacturer Elkay Wood Products Co., Oak Brook, Il.
Elkay brands include Medallion, Design-Craft, Yorktowne, Schuler, Medallion at Menards, MasterCraft, and American Cabinetry Collection. ACPI brands include Echelon, Advanta, Smart, Master Woodcraft, Cabinets 2000, and Serenade.
Tim Jahnke, CEO of parent Elkay Manufacturing Co., said, “We found ACPI to be the ideal partner for EWP. The combined business will be a stronger company with a broader product offering to serve the market more completely. The sale also enables further investment in the long-term growth of the other Elkay businesses.”
The deal is expected to be completed by the end of first quarter 2019.
