Dealers Wholesale, Indianapolis, In.-based distributor of commercial doors, business hardware, and security systems, has purchased Palatine Builders Supply, Wood Dale, Il.
Founded in 1987, Palatine sells metal and wood doors, hollow metal frames, door hardware, and bathroom accessories to contractors throughout the greater Chicago area. It also provides in-house fabrication services, including welding and assembly.
“We’re excited to join forces with PBS,” noted Dealers Wholesale CEO Jimmy Rayford. “Together, we’re uniquely equipped to address diverse customer needs with exceptional quality, efficiency, and service across the Midwest.”
All 14 PBS employees are expected to stay on, including general manager Sarah Saisi and sales manager Mark Brasseur.
The acquisition builds on its Dealers Wholesale’s 2021 purchase of safety and surveillance technology firm ClearPath Connections, Pewaukee, Wi.
“By combining Dealers Wholesale’s expertise in new construction projects and broad product portfolio with PBS’s strengths in retrofit solutions and ClearPath’s advanced, technology-driven capabilities, we are uniquely equipped to address diverse customer needs,” said Rayford.
