A new building supply yard has been launched in Roswell, N.M., by former Builders Do it Center president Justin Ellis and previous branch manager Aaron Coats.

Called Elco Building Supply, it soft-opened in June in a 20,000-sq. ft. warehouse with 4,000-sq. ft. showroom on 20 acres previously operated by PCM Building Supply.

“We are primarily focusing on roofing materials, concrete accessories, and general construction supplies, but we are handling some forest products related to those core categories such as forming lumber and sheathing,” said CEO Ellis.

According to Ellis, the Elco team is “100% ex-Builders,” including Coats as chief operations officer, operations lead Dallas Garthwaite, and sales lead Mary Freeland.

A grand opening celebration is set for Aug. 1.
