Grabber Construction Products, Concord, Ca., has been acquired by GMS, a leading North American distributor of gypsum wallboard and suspended ceiling systems.
Grabber is a 30+-year-old international distributor of quality products for construction professionals, including premium fasteners and fastening systems for wood, metal, and drywall, and a wide range of proprietary tools, accessories, equipment and building materials.
Grabber Concord will become the seventh location of GMS subsidiary J&B Materials, which has locations in Southern California and Hawaii.

Based in Tucker, Ga., GMS operates a network of more than 200 distribution centers across the U.S. The acquisition marks its entry into the San Francisco Bay Area.
