Huttig Building Products is re-configuring its Sacramento, Ca., distribution center to meet burgeoning demand for its connector and specialty building products lines, particularly Huttig-Grip fasteners.
According to Huttig, the changes will allow the DC “to better serve the market with exceptional fill rates and lead times. The reconfiguration of our facility will optimize efficiencies and support continued above market growth in key building product categories.” These changes will help support and grow our mutual business.
To make room, the Sacramento DC is exiting the door and millwork distribution business this fall. It is working with current door and millwork customers to facilitate orders as seamlessly as possible, but stopping taking new orders after Nov. 6.
