Interfor has sold its Philomath, OR., sawmill and manufacturing site to mass timber producer Timberlab
Interfor Corp. has finalized the sale of its sawmill and 80-acre site in Philomath, OR., to Timberlab Holdings, Portland, OR.
Interfor closed the facility in February and sold the property and assets for $15 million on June 27.
A division of Swinerton, Timberlab operates mass timber manufacturing facilities in Drain and Swisshome, OR., and mass timber fabrication facilities in Portland and Piedmont, S.C.
Capital Lumber is discontinuing distribution of Trex composite decking and will begin instead carrying AZEK products at its 10 locations across eight western states.
