Cellular PVC millwork manufacturer Intex Millwork Solutions is relocating from Millville, N.J., to an historic, 51-year-old former glass and bottle factory in Mays Landing, N.J. The move, Intex’s fourth in 11 years, will increase its production floor space from 44,000 sq. ft. to 103,000 sq. ft., plus 9,800 sq. ft. of office space and a 16,000-sq. ft. warehouse. A tenant will share about 30,000 sq. ft. of the production space for at least two years.

Intex purchased the new site in June and has been busy with demolition, renovations, metalwork, door installation, electrical, and painting the facility’s entire interior and exterior. They’ll also be adding new landscaping, roofing, epoxy flooring, LED lighting, HVAC, two additional CNC routers, and a state-of-the-art, 40,000-sq. ft. dust collection system.

The move is expected by the end of 2017, with a grand opening planned for the early spring.
