Wildfires that began last week continue to rage through the Los Angeles area, having already claimed at least two dozen lives and more than 12,000 structures, including the beloved Altadena Hardware, Altadena, Ca.
Owned by Jim Orlandini, the hardware store and nursery had been part of the local community for more than 80 years. On Jan. 7, it burned down to its brick facade.
At least four fires are still active, as firefighters brace for winds to pick up today.
