Based on geography, the global thermally modified wood market can be segmented into Asia Pacific, Europe, North America, Latin America, and Middle East & Africa.

Europe remains the primary market for thermally modified wood, “due to the expansion of construction and siding and decking industries in the region.” The heaviest increases in investment, however, are coming in Asia Pacific and Latin America.
