Mount Storm Forest Products, Windsor, Ca., pulled out all the stops to entertain and educate during its 30th annual open house, BBQ and vendor show on Sept. 20.

Customers could meet with company reps as well as vendors, who shared more about Mount Storm’s extensive line-up of hardwood lumber, panels and accessories.

They were also entertained by The Renovators during a scrumptious BBQ buffet.

Also on hand was Sebastopol artist Michael Cooper, author of “Workmanship of Risk,” who showed off one of his creations, Half Dome, which he sculpted from laminated Russian birch plywood. Somewhat reminiscent of the ghosts from the game Pac-Man, the creature’s outer shell could be flipped open to reveal the sculpture was actually a modified go-kart with a ‘71 Harley Davidson Shovel Head motor.
