Two employees and five contractors were arrested in connection with a theft ring that cost Cason Builders Supply, East Flat Rock, N.C., an estimated $180,000.
According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, the workers were selling Cason inventory to local businesses without Cason’s knowledge or consent.
Employees Jose Ruben Huerta and Marcelino Huerta were charged with, respectively, 40 counts and 18 counts of felony larceny by employee and felony conspiracy. Facing multiple counts apiece for aiding and abetting are the owners of A&L Landscaping, HH Concrete, Ramirez Landscaping, Primo’s Wall Masonry, and JHCC Construction.
