NEW JERSEY’S CERBO LUMBER CLOSES

76-year-old Cerbo Lumber & Hardware, Parsippany, NJ, has closed its doors

After 76 years and three generations of family operation, Cerbo’s Lumber & Hardware, Parsippany, N.J., closed on Sept. 10.

The Cerbo family, led by Cathy Cerbo, sold its four-acre property to a developer, with plans “yet to be determined.” 

The daughter of second-generation owner Nick Cerbo, who died in 2018, Cathy is undecided on the next move of her career.
