Overseas Hardwoods Co. (OHC) has added a new state-of-the-art coating facility at its Stockton, Al., complex to improve the looks and performance of siding, soffits and decking.
OHC can now “ProCoat” a variety of lumber products in a factory setting, meticulously applying just the right amount of finish with no overspray. Products are sanded, coated, wiped and cured on both sides of the board in a controlled environment. This guarantees consistency, eliminates wasted time on the job site, while waiting for the product to dry before applying additional coats, and eliminates unwanted mess.
OHC has been solving customers’ problems since the 1960s with manufactured cut-to-length kits for trailer manufacturers and then in the 1990s with an engineered fingerjoint product—both innovative solutions that are still saving customers time and labor cost. OHC’s manufacturing capabilities have evolved over the years to include pre-drilling, custom profiles, CNC customization, precision-end-trimming, and much more.

In addition to numerous stock colors, OHC has the capability to customize colors, allowing OEM’s, architects, and designers to have a signature color they can put their name on.
