UNITED TREATING ACQUIRES GEORGIA WOOD PRESERVING PLANT

Alabama's United Treating & Distribution purchases OSA's facility in Ringgold, Ga.

United Treating & Distribution, Muscle Shoals, Al., is expanding its market presence by acquiring OSA’s wood treating plant and associated assets in Ringgold, Ga.

UTD will be treating a full range of pressure treated wood at the facility with MCA.

UTD was founded in 2006 and has a customer base spanning 19 states. UTD supplies both treated and untreated lumber, along with distributing various building materials like aluminum railing and composite decking to retail lumber yards, contractor yards, multi-family markets, portable barn builders, utility trailer manufacturers, components for pallet and crating industry and other markets.
