Lumber Plus, Kanab, Ut., is expanding from 7,000 to 10,000 sq. ft. and remerchandising as it switches to Do it Best as its primary supplier.
Previous affiliate True Value Hardware was acquired by Do it Best late last year. While some products and brands will change, the owner anticipates “99% of the inventory will stay the same.”
“Since we’re already making a transition,” Debbie Buck told the Southern Utah News, “we figured now would be a good time to put in the store expansion we were planning anyway … we’ve needed more space for a while and now’s a good time.”
The expansion will provide more square area in the back of the store, a new contractor’s office, and the addition of an adjacent structure.
