ZUERN ACQUIRES SAEMAN LUMBER

Zuern Building Products has purchased Wisconsin's Saeman Lumber, family owned and operated since 1876.

Zuern Building Products & Design Center, Slinger, Wi., has acquired 148-year-old Saeman Lumber Co., Cross Plains, Wi., from owner Bob Saeman and his famiily.

Saeman Lumber, established in 1876, shares Zuern’s commitment to high-quality lumber and building materials across all categories, including popular brands like Marvin, Andersen, and TimberTech/AZEK.

The acquisition allows Zuern to better serve Madison market customers with a wider range of products and services, and to expand into new markets throughout central and southwestern Wisconsin.

Both Saeman locations will remain operational Cross Plains will focus on lumber and building materials, while Saeman’s showroom in Madison, Wi., will continue to specialize in windows and doors.

The deal closed June 14, with former Saeman locations beginning operations under Zuern on June 17.

They join Zuern’s six building material showrooms throughout Wisconsin and window design center in Madison.
